My third plan is to become an elevator technician. This involves working with elevators and fixing them.

Elevator technicians work with elevators and ensure that they are working properly. You even have to work in open shafts.
Thw work environment is highly physical, fast paced, and dangerous.
How to become one.
This is what you need to become an elevator technician.
- At least 17 or 18 years of age.
- High school diploma.
- The ability to loft up to 200 lbs.
- Comfortable working in dark and high places. If you have acrophobia (fear of heights), then this job is not for you.
- The ability to see red, yellow, and green and distinguish between those colors.
- Clean driving record.
Workers are usually paid $50 - $60 every hour depending on experience.
The job outlook is highly positive.
